If VW is really serious about building a performance car, they should try to steal an IS-F prototype.

prototypes is all that exists of the IS-F, we've been hearing IS-F for months now and its still doing pageants at Toyota/Lexus fairs.

Launch it already so we can see if they actually did something make something worthy of being called
"a true sports performance vehicle"

The driver of the IS-F following this car would need a oxygen mask after being left behind in the dust.

PS. donate a pair of binoculars to see it roaring off too.

"The driver of the IS-F following this car would need a oxygen mask after being left behind in the dust."

A stupid hatch concept that won't even enter production.

BTW, the IS-F will roll out in Jan 2008.

Am sorry to say for the sad little Lexus fanatic, but the ISF is no where near this W12 and you only lying to yourself.... lol

Won't enter production. As for turns, it will probably not be reliable enough to start the engine.

sure does the is-f have a engine or did they steal it from a camry at the last moment too?

The IS-F has a reliable 5l V8 w/400hp. And oh, the Camry powerplant is also reliable as well as responsive.
Some people install it in their MR2s and scoop out 400+hp.

You never know really, i think this Golf could enter production if demand is good enough, it would be a great tourer really, and besides VW would still be able to bring it to market before Lexus release the ISF, which I think is no good anyways as it will never be better than the new M3, so therefore all this effort which Lexus SEEMS to be putting in is pointless anyways....

If this Golf doesnt get released though I think the body kit should defo get released at least... Amazing looks.

Lexus is waiting for the new M3 to come out so they can go back to the drawing board. I mean the copying board.

Unlike subaru, this is a show car. the germans will not put this into production, because then they would be in wrx sti territory. GEE the money that is lost is almost amusing. Who would think that an affordable car with supercar performance would sell.
