The IS-F does not sound better than an RS4. Keep on dreaming Lexus. However it does sound nice though. Two thumbs up.

But an IS that much I would be looking into another segment of cars. I rather have the more conservative RS4 appearance than a rice rocket IS-F though it would have suited me well when I was in my teens.

has lexus ever made a product that matched its bmw competitor in performance? no.

why should we believe this will be anything different? they still won't let anyone drive it. and they still won't reveal any important stats like weight distribution. too little to go on here.

The sound of the Lexus IS-F revving sound pretty aggressive and mean to me. Any of you hear remember of the BMW M3 revv sound like? yes you got, it sound pussy cat meowing in the morning.

I can't for this Lexus IS-F to come out and shut all the German tree hugger off. And than they will make excuse again like they always do.

Haha you're now talking smack against the M3. The M3 is a legend. The IS-F is not simple as that. You say it sounds like a cat but the sound of an M3 is high performance. Ferraris can have high pitched sounds too but just because it's a Ferrari you show respect to it what a fruitcake.

Anyways, what is that with the German tree hugger comment? How does that relate to any cars at all? It shows your immaturity and shows your knowledge about cars. Quit gluing your eyes to a computer monitor and go drive some real cars instead of ones in your PC games.

I think they want the distortion in the background for some reason that we might not know of. We know how the Japanese usually are very tight lip about their up and coming car.

Not true. It will probably not be above 410hp; because their marketing dept. claims 400hp.

FanBoy's is the most realistic. As the RS4 and new M3 both employ 420hp engines, I wouldn't be surprised if Lexus tries to trump them with 421hp or something. Then the RS5 will come with 450hp, and the C63 with 700hp in usual Mercedes fashion...

FanBoy3000, your'e dumber than I thought your were, I say that to piss all the German fanboys off intentionally. And you fell for the bate. How do you know if it not close to 450 hp? the car is not even out yet. Lexus has claim numerous of time that the Lexus IS-F will have well over 400 hp.

FanBoy3000 is a joint-German/Lexus fan. I'm pretty sure he likes the German car fans better, but prefers Lexus cars.

If I could have any sedan in the world right now, it would probably be a Sprint Blue RS4. It's hard to resist, but I'm addicted to convertibles, so I can't really choose... 911 C4S Cabrio or RS4?

S4, If I was in the market for the Audi RS4, it would be red for me.

I think I have come up with a few ideas since S4 made me think about a change up for my cars. Maybe get rid of the LS and get an R8 or even get the RS5 if they make one.

One reason why I would get the RS5 over the R8 is practicality. Mind you the LS is my daily driver and the S is driven a little less and if i'm replacing the LS I'll need a car that's just as practical. I think the RS5 would be good with a nicely appointed interior and sport-luxury. However there also is that new M3 out but I do like the A5's more understated look. It's a very conservative look for Audi and i'm loving it!

Unless...I get rid of rid of the LS and get myself a V8 Vantage but it will mean forking out more $.
