Ferrari Enzo hit a bus, causes £300,000 in damages
A millionaire business man is suing a bus company claiming that the was being “driven too fast when it rounded a bend on the wrong side of the road and smashed into the £600,000 supercar.” Owner, Frank Mountain claims that the damages to his Ferrari Enzo cost him more than £300,000 in repairs. The £300,000 also includes compensation for loss of earnings, loss of use of the Ferrari and a dramatic drop in the car’s value.

Mountain, the first person in the UK to own a Ferrari Enzo, claims the bus rounded a corner “like a bat out of hell” before striking the Ferrari and pushing it into a Volkswagen Golf.

The crash left the Enzo with severe damage to its passenger side which were repaired at Ferrari’s Modena factory in Italy.

It would cost less to hit an actual living person.

They're an endangered species- the Enzos would all be safe if their owners actually knew how to drive. I understand that this didn't happen because of a driver, but most of them have, and there have been at least a half-dozen totalled so far...

You can cut down the rainforest, and kill off entire species and no one really cares. Crash an expensive limited car and the whole world goes crazy.
Save the planet first then save the Enzo

"The wheels on the bus go round and round..."

Funny how it's a red one yet again.

Probably one of those euphoric moments, where the adrenaline peaks because you've just seen your favorite car, and your first inclination is to mash the gas pedal because....."that's the car you're in".

Who hasn't had a moment like that? Although, I saw a parked McLaren Mercedes SLR while driving the other day and my first impulse was to slam on the brakes and kill everyone behind me so that I could just sit and stare.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this sounds like a case of the "Bus hits Ferrari" not the other way around. The bus was on the wrong side of the road if the owners story is correct. It had nothing to do with poor driving like so many above automatically claim.

I wonder what they do with the crashed Enzo bodies? I wonder if anyone could just get their hands on one? I would take one just to say I own a Ferrari.

I'd buy a decently sized Enzo piece for $100.00

Maybe selling 4"X4" bits of wrecked exotics could be someone's next online store?

Jeez! If he spends 300,000 euros fixing the hot car, he might as well buy a new one.
