Vandenbrink Ferrari 599 GTO

This car would look awesome in person.

What's the point of this car? Could anyone explain?

The 599 is already such a great car and looks really nice. This tuner unnecessarily fools around with the looks, just to make a quick buck.

The front is too busy in my opinion. Too many holes.

This is all a matter of perspective. Calling Vanderbrink as a tuner is a bit far-fetched. This is an interpretation of transformating, visually, the stellar Ferrari 599 GTB into the beautiful 1960's Ferrari 250 GTO.

I also wouldn't go as far as claiming Hietbrink Coachbuilding and Vanderbrink Design doing this for a quick buck because in the business of coachbuilding, there is nothing quick about how they go about constructing these cars. Most of the time, coachbuilders employ no more than five to ten employees, which all of the cars are put together by hand. So as you can imagine the whole process isn't like that used by Ferrari themselves. Chances Hietbrink will buy 599s from Ferrari to then strip the cars down to the bone, which they will construct their own car shells and proceed to finish the car with their own trim. To save money Hietbring will likely reuse large amount of Ferrari parts from everything in the engine bay, transmissions, suspension members, to the brake systems. This is a very lengthy and costly, as in trying to sell an already expensive car at a higher price just to break even is daring operation.

The idea of driving a 599 GTB car in 250 GTO-esque body is just cool. I'm more curious if the interior will share the aesthetics of older Ferraris.
