Glad we don't drive in the UK...Speed Camera's going digital
Dutch-based Gatsometer - the firm behind the devices - has developed a new digital image-capturing system. Dang

The trial version of this is actually 20 metres from my house. It's only a red-light jumping cam though, but people do it loads, it caused a ton of accidents. I would actually say 100% of accidents there are caused by jumping red lights. It's a really busy road as well, goes from central London all the way to Wales...via Heathrow airport.

I don't want to drive in any country where they drive on the wrong side of the road.

When I went to malaysia I faced this same problem of having a problem driving when the steering is on the right. I felt wierd, and I almost went a in the wrong direction! But then I got abit used to it and it felt normal. I stayed there for 18 days.

I wonder how long it will take before this crosses overseas.

I did some calculations and the results were scary! About 5,700,000 cameras in the UK! That is, if I am not mistaken!
