The 2007 Infiniti FX35 received a makeover last year that re-tuned the suspension for a smoother ride and added a bunch of standard features. Dont worry, the sport sedan side of its personality is still dominant.

With its all-independent suspension, a near-ideal 52-48 front-to-rear weight distribution, and a strong engine, the FX35 is a formidable road machine.

The 2007 Infiniti FX35 is a mid-size crossover SUV that comes in one well-equipped trim level. The 2006 FX35 received a freshening that tweaked all aspects of the sporty SUV, but focused on adding standard features. The standard equipment list for 2007 is long and impressive: 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, power-adjustable leather front seats, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a 300-watt Bose audio system with an in-dash 6-disc CD changer, a rear-view monitor, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and full power accessories.

I love this vehicle and right now it's the #1 contender for my next vehicle, as I'm looking for a sport SUV because I'm tired of cars and want a vehicle that sits higher without being a full sized SUV. I miss my truck sometimes ha. But, shouldn't this vehicle be expecting a redesign soon? I expect with the EX being shown it's only a matter of - maybe a year or two at most? - before big brother FX steals some design cues. Plus, this design was created around (2003/2004?). It's still very sexy in every regard, but I'd like to think a nice slight redesign (perhaps EX'ish) is right around the corner and I'd likely wait for that.

watch for future models to carry the all new 3.7L 330 Hp enginge,...and a soon to be announced 5.0L monster !!!

Dollar for Dollar the most fun one can have driving, legally !!!

Whereas the FX is for HIM ,...expect the all new EX to be for HER !

Hats off to INFINITI for being liberal enough in their conservatism to strike a balance of power,refinement, and driving excitement.

Other than the G-35 coupe,...the FX body is the most copied silloette out there in the marketplace.

I was also considering one of these for my next purchase but unfortunately they don't come with a manual transmission and I gotta have that on my next car, I'm tired of driving an automatic.

If they are putting the 3.5 liter motor into the EX350, will they be putting the same engine in the updated FX350? I think perhaps the new 3.7 liter motor might be more likely for the new FX 350 (here's hoping)

I have owned two of them, all i can say the machine handles great, has plenty of power, and gets about a avg of 19 mpg. We are very intersted in the EX will wait and see

The look of it is nice but the drive is great. A good friend of mine has one and I love driving it. Its just a tall sports car. I love the engine note and the handling. I was not in love with the interior or the lack of hatch space but those things aside its great. I haven't seen the updated one yet so they may have adressed my interior concerns.

the FX's interior is the best on the market. Like chuck777 i've owned 2 FX's. I was looking at Cayenne's and X5's before getting another FX, neither vehicles have "it"! I've scoured the interweb for spyshots of the next gen - but no luck. I hear a covert operation developing for our agents.

It's still ugly as all get out!!! The X5 is the best looking even if it's more expensive. It only takes a little more to go 1st class.

OH yeah...how about them blindspots in those FXs?

The X5 was the first SUV that drew me in to SUV's, until the FX came out. Then when i heard the next gen x5 was going coming, i was sure bmw was going to go edgy....but they didn't. I hope infinti doesn't do the same.
The FX's layout was very intuitive for me. The X5 didn't have the same embracing layout. As for the Cayenne's interior, it was close, but it was just a little off(low-eye-navi).
Oh the blindspots, there is no spoon....er, blindspot. If you know your vehicle/surroundings. blindspots don't exist.

The FX is hot and the exhaust note is addicting, but sorry, it doesn't haul like an SUV. The trunk of my wife's RX isn't huge, but the FX's is probably half the size. That's what a sexy roofline does to you.

Why are we waisting good articles on a overatted marono that outdated. Looks like a huge sneaker, the new benchmark for SUV styling and performance is the Acura MDX (ADVANCE)
