I think eventually the design of Toyota hybrid and electric vechicles will get better. If customers who's in the market gor this type of car, complain about how ugly this Prius look.

For I hope the next gen Prius will look more attractive than this one.

There's also been emissions research into having PV cells that power a heating element in a catalytic converter so there is not 30seconds of noxious emissions when you start your car. This is because Catalytic converters must be at a certain temp to work.

Doesn't the Maybach have a solar panel to keep the coolbox operating when the car isn't on?

imho, the future will be plug-in hybrids, gas and diesel.

with solar panels, even the need for plugging in will be reduced!

considering 109 mpg is possible NOW with stock priuses (with certain drivers), it may become commonplace for anybody to get 120 mpg before long.
