Ford raises Edge sales forecast for 2007
The Ford Edge is probably the most appealing of all crossover SUVs on the road right now. The SUV is quickly climbing to the top of the charts currently ranking third behind the Nissan Murano and the Toyota Highlander. In February, of the 68,439 mid-size crossovers sold, 10,915 were the Edge, capturing 16% of the market.

This actually is quite a nice riding truck. I was very impressed.

That's a good looking cross-over. Good sales should not be a surprise.

This is a straight forward clean design, i'm no Ford fan but then again this what they have to do win us over again and give them a hard look. The Edge if Ford doesn't fool around could be a solid contender, all Ford needs now is to make sure it is soundly built and the dealers listen to the public if minor changes have to be made, so far a nice "Edge" for Ford over the other Big Two and imports.

Yes finally people see this is better then what most people think. I have seen the edge many times and its selling better then the fusion here in SXM. Its a solid vehicle with a great ride and the quality is up there. Sure it may have some downsides but this is a pretty god vehicle.

I'm going to join in on this love fest too... I always love when Ford comes out with something new because it's usually such a hunk of crap that I have to make fun of it. I have to admit... when I saw these being delivered to the dealer down the road I said "wow, what's that???" and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it was a Ford. Kudos to Ford for a job well done... for a change...

Then exterior is fresh, but the interior is a little stale. What really remains to be seen, is how many of these buyers are traditionally Explorer buyers.
