SPY PHOTOS: Even More BMW 6-series Facelift
A new front bumper, revised taillights and a tiny spoiler lip at the rear edge of the boot lid – that’s what distances the facelifted BMW 6-series from today’s model. We gather that the interior will be refined, too!

Engines, on the other hand, will not change, and so customers will still have the choice between the 258-bhp 630i, the 367-bhp 4.8-litre V8 called 650i and the M6. We expect the facelifted model to debut at the Frankfurt Show later this year.

Not a major facelift like its sibling (7 Series).
Front bumper is not a step forward (design wise).Rear is OK.
BTW, isn’t 6 series received a facelift in 2006 (645i to 650i and the introduction of the 6cyl variant, 630i)

That wasn't a facelift. It included some iDrive software updates, some new colours, some new wheels, some new engines and couple of new options.

Even after all this time it's been out, I still can't get over the styling. Better luck next time, BMW.

Please Will do not comment on REAL cars until you no longer drive your wifes lexus RX...talk about ugly POS! At least get a sedan...not a minivan cross over whatever that thing is...

What a POS...

I saw one parked this weekend behind an late 1990's Camaro and, my god, all the proportions are exactly the same. Its really uncanny. Yes for $80K you can have an IROC BMW Z-28 Transam Camaro.

Maybe GM figured that since BMW had the market covered they could discontinue theirs.

Yesterday coming home from the grocery store I did see a year old BMW 6 convertible next to a brand new 2007 Chevrolet Corvette convertible in white with tan leather and I will say the Vette looked very good ;)

Congratulations Hyundai on outscoring more notable makes such as Lexus.

Still ugly and overwrought. Hope the new 3 Coupe is a signal of more BMW's to come...

Wow, I didn't know there was so much 6 Series loathing on this site. I fancy it to be a very elegant coupe, more distinguished to the 3 Series's youthful appearance.

More relevantly-- I do like the bumper kit. Looks quite nice.

It has a timeless design, and can age better than its competitors.... look at the SL for example.... its starting to look seriously old now, while the 6 shines.

That's what I've been saying! The SL550 facelift actually looks older than the SL500, while the 6 Series (that everyone panned when it came out, including me) still looks fresh and elegant!

I am really trying hard to like this car, but I just can't get with the "eyebrow effect" of the head lights. That totally destroys it for me!
