Who's hotter? Lexus or Infiniti

Right now, we'd have to say Infiniti.

They've really got the industry buzzing with the new designs (G35,New M45, FX's) and their value proposition is hard to beat.

Check out this letter we received this week from a reader...we think it says it all.

Dear 001,

In the next 10 years, I can see Infiniti easily becoming one of the most dominant players in the luxury car segment. Nissan has just announced its Value-Up direction, and Infiniti is going to play a large role in this. Nissan wants to make Infiniti a true global tier-one brand. The G35 and FX's have already gotten rave reviews by members of the European press who have tested the cars. The new M35/M45 is going to be the next step in making the brand even better than it already is.

If Infiniti wants to be recognized with the world's best cars, they need to capture the attention of Europe. Lexus sales are dismal in Europe and they have not made any significant gains there. Renault would like to have a true luxury car brand in Europe and Nissan's Infiniti just might be the ticket and proposition that they are looking for.

The new M45 has wowed everyone all over the Internet.

It was definitely the star of the New York International Auto Show.

It is an amazing looking car inside and out at an unreal price. I expect this car to become the new benchmark in its price-range just like the G35 has become. It is a great time to be a car enthusiast and an even better time to be behind the wheel of an Infiniti product.

Just sold my 2000 Audi A6 2.7T. I was looking at comparitively priced and loaded SUV models -MDX, Touareg, FX. Acura was my 'safety' choice because the design is modern but not really exciting. The Touareg is nice and has good performance overall ...went to the dealer and the best deal I could get on a V6 Lease was $569/mo ... same features on the FX35 AWD plus the Sport Package $465/mo. How can VW or even BMW or Lexus compete with that?

So I ended up with the FX35 AWD with Touring/Sport and the color choice I wanted. I pick up the car next week!
