Based on the new 2008 Subaru Impreza hatchback that was unveiled at the 2007 NYIAS, CarMagazine artists have drawn up their photo rendering of the next generation Subari Impreza STi. Subaru will only offer the five-door hatchback variant of the Impreza STi in Europe in order to steal some market share from the Volkswagen Golf.

At least it no longer looks like a bug.
What's with the Mazda grill and the Civic headlights. It does not blend well.
Then again it should be a hell of a performer.

It's such a shame the WRX has lost its character. I can't say it was great looking, but it had style. Now it's just another hatchback with strong wheelarches. Come ON subaru.

WTF is with all the styling debate surrounding the Impreza and Lancer.

These are ugly performance cars, let them tear up the dirt, carve the corners, and look functional doing it.
