First real Spy Photo of the next BMW 7-Series interior
Looks like the 2009 next generation 7-Series is dumping the contemporary interior motif and is going back to the future with a more traditional BMW signature look.

Thank GOD they are dumping the 70's Oldsmobile transmission shifter on the steering wheel in favor of a hand held console unit.

In a BMW I think the shifter should be on the floor. In a Merc (like the S or ML) I do think it fits.
