2007 Acura CSX Type-S

honda will call anything luxury car, this is exactly why acura is not a luxury brand to me, they make downmarket cars with acura badges. but in canada there is more a push for lower end luxury cars so maybe it makes sense

lexus was once at that stage too u know. i think in the next few years acura will move up.

Hey, my A3 is awesome, so little luxury cars can be good. I wouldn't be quick to judge the CSX.

I think Acura is just slower in the game than Audi and Lexus merging out as a luxury brand. I think eventually Acura will need to find a way to move out of that "Honda" image that Lexus went through with the "Rebadged Toyota's".

Time will tell.

Question? What's the difference between the TSX and the CSX except for the latter looking much more like a Civic. Aren't they both built on the same chassis?

The Civic Si is sweet. I don't know what you're talking about in terms of sales. Like the GTI, it's a great car to be based on.

nice for civic owners..........take off the honda badge and put the acura emblem on ur hood.....trust me, no one would notice or care.

I'm right here, trust me I don't care for the CSX either its been around for years this is nothing new. It's called playing to your market, go on the UK Honda site and see some of th etechnology Honda has out there that will never make it over here. It is the same thing Toyota used to do take their Lexus vechicles and name the different cars in other markets. ie Cressada (Lexus ES). Nice to know you are thinking of me, where are you on other logs when the German fan are dissing your almighty Lexus.

I love Honda, but hate Acura. Their cars put me to sleep. Don't ask me why.

This is the same Honda civic we get get here, without the spoiler and screen. What were they thinking?!

To all you haters I have this for you especially Mr. LexusAdmirer. Acura vechicles have always had torque, with fwd that is actually one of their downfalls. I dont care what the es was untill now it has always been junk glorified camry. Here is how I compare apples to apples.
1ST GEN TSX VS IS300. TSX looks way better as IS was nothing pretty to look at interior was horrible and the 4cy TSX was just as fast (Lexus with cloth seats, talk about passionate pursuit for perfection.

3RD gen TL vs ES300 -330. TL looks much better rides much better, more options than ES (Reason way Lexus had to step up their game and make a half decent car that is worth the badge.
2ND gen RL VS GS series. RL more option tops out at more questionable decision. Looks better, even looks better than 3rd gen GS in my opinion, as the GS takes a while to get use too whereas the RL is what it is.

2ND gen MDX vs RX. no competition here the MDX is just bigger, better looking,more power, 7 passanger (although tight nice to know its there. Heated rear seats which the RAV4 wannabe does not have, trailer stabalizer for towing, RX I doubt can even tow. SH-AWD something to marvel.

My point is when you compare generations Acura is right their with Lexus. Of course it might seem like lexus is miles ahead now when your compare a new model to ones that are in need of refreash. How many years now has the TL kick the ES royal behind in sales #1 selling luxury car how many out of the past years.

Meant to say don't get me wrong I respect Lexus but i feel Acura needs more respect than they get. I think you guys are nervous because Honda is cabale so that gets everyone nervous, I am curious what the next few years will bring especially once Acura goes global in 2008.Atleast I know i'm not alone because i see plenty of Acura's out there and I don't have to worry about being in the shop twice a month like you would with some German engineering. (comments?)
