The sound on this is amazing. I saw one on the road on the way home from work. I think the V8 Vantage is a little under powered. It should be more quick than the former XKR sibling. They look alike and perform alike. They were after all designed by the same team so similarities are bound to occur. Both great machines at that. Anyways back to it being under powered. They could have easily pushed the car 400bhp+. 440-450bhp would have been a nice number probably giving the 0-60 time a much faster 4.4-4.5.

However that will interfere with it's bigger brother the DB9 V12 which already produces 450bhp.

Despite the want for more power I have realized that the consumers of this Aston is very business like. I also believe that Aston buyers are like Bentley buyers. Astons are luxuriously appointed performance super cars. The only difference from Bentley is they are luxuriously appointed luxury cars instead of super cars. In other words less sporting.

BTW, the V8 Vantage is already quicker than the DB9. Check Aston Martin stats in any car magazine- it surprised me, too, but it's true.
