Swiss Environmental Protesters Fire Bomb A Mercedes Dealership
Militant opponents of the Group of Eight summit claimed responsibility yesterday for a firebomb attack on a Mercedes car dealership in Zurich.

An anonymous fax sent to The Associated Press and other media organizations also demanded the release of G-8 opponents arrested by German police. The overnight attack caused about 200,000 Swiss francs (US$160,000) in damage. Hundreds of demonstrators have been arrested in Rostock, Germany - about 15 miles (25 kilometers) from the G-8 summit in Heiligendamm - during a series of protests since Saturday. About a dozen people demonstrated peacefully for the release of G-8 protesters in front of the Germany Embassy in Bern on Monday evening.

Really? Because history books describe exchanges between the Third Reich and the Swiss government. Although they claimed 'neutrality,' they still had distinct effect on the war. But I think I'm digressing...

Toyotaman, you, like others, are completely and utterly, down to the core, biased.
Your atrocious view of Japanese cars ALWAYS leading europeans is just disgusting. You know who made the first car? Benz
You seriously have problems

I'm curious as to what Toyotaman is smoking these days or is he just an angry man about to self-destruct? Hardly anyone builds crap any more. All manufacturers have roughly the same manufacturing savvy and QA regimens. There are still differences in marketing approaches and the choice of materials and components used. I was in a Lexus showroom today and admit that the current models look good and exude quality but there are some packaging shortcomings and I find that, on balance, Lexus is no more desirable than Audi, BMW or Meercedes.
