The Lexus LS460 by Wald International

Nowadays 99.99% of the global automotive production is customized at some point by all types of companies or the clients themselves, even some red Italian masterpieces are (some will call it blasphemy) modified both inside and outside.

If there is a whole lot of German companies specialized in this, the Japanese are certainly not the lasts on the list. One example is Wald International. Already offering a wide range of possibilities they have recently been working on the prestigious Lexus LS460.

The result, through the well-knowed and used body kit application, is a pleasure for the eyes. Somebody who doesn't know much about cars could easily mistake it for a standard version with bigger and more agressive rims and, in a category which is clearly looking for discretion, this is a positive point.
Instead of going for the looks only, the people at Wald have been working on an improved version of the V8 engine even though very few details have been communicated on this particular area so far.

All in all this is yet another high quality work from Wald International aimed at all the Lexus LS owners around the world.

Not a horrible kit. But a car as staid as this just isn't made for tuners. It's only nice in stock form.

Yeah, I was de-boosted, even though I really like the 460. I may dislike it in relativity- but that's RELATIVELY, as in, compared to the A8/7 Series/S-Class. On its own, though, it's a fabulous car.

Its beautiful, way more sexier than the MB, MBW, A8.
The more of these beauties I see on the road the more I fall in love with them.

Off the topic, while reading this post I went to www.mbusa.com site to see what's the mpg on the S550, it only shows 24 by the way with no indication to city/highway. But my point of this was, while browsing the MB site, I saw how few information they give in their details, and how stupidly that on every link you click you get a new browser launched. That showed that if the website is so badly designed, then how are the actual cars then?

Lexus rules in every aspect, even their beautiful and easy to use website, that has all the info about all their models.

Not a fan of the normal LS...and this looks almost as bad but for more money. Looks very cheap in comparison to an S65, Brabus or even an Alpina B7.

AMG and Alpina are the in-house tuners; therefore u can't compare it to the Wald.

Carlsson, G Power...etc can be comparable.

Btw i too think Lexus (especially LS460) exterior design shouldn't be tuned. (Only mechanical and some interior adjustments should be made)

Never really been a fan of these extreme tuner cars, but this one is at least somewhat more reserved and tasteful than the horrible renditions by Renntech, Lorinser, ASA etc.

The LS600hL remains the best-looking version of the new LS.

It doesn't look that bad but somehow the car has been degraded somehow. It's more riced out than anything. However it is Japanese and that is what I always expect from them. Mainly the front end bugs me. Perhaps the Lexus logo could have been made in chrome trim instead of all black. It looks good though but would still rather keep my LS bone stock. If any accessories it would be those wheels.

not everyone is going to like japan's VIP culture. personally, i think its refreshing. there will always be the cheesy stuff but wald usually puts out clean kits. if you want to see a mess go look at any car kitted by lorinser or ASMA...

No, the black grille is what makes this bodykit so distinctive. IMO it adds more flair than the stock chrome grille, which is just like all the other chrome-grilled luxury sedans.
