MINI SUV gets the green light from BMW

If they want this to be a credible small SUV they better make it a little taller with more ground clearance, make a slightly greater-displacement engine for it and substitute a conventional automatic transmission for the dreaded CVT.

A couple of weeks ago in Newport Beach and Laguna Beach there was what looked to be a heavily disguised X3 ish looking SUV (Definetly BMW). Could this be the Mini SUV?

Today in Santa Barbara I saw the M3 in disguise with all the vents and sportieness covered in plastic. Why bother at this point?

Absolutely right Sleeper, I hate wasting my time on all these teasers the car companies are putting out. I guess their marketing idiots all went to the same school. I want full details and full disclosure right from the start -- even if the product is months away from launch. If I don't get it, I start researching other products and the teaser goes to the bottom of my list or merits no further consideration at all.
