The Nissan Altima hybrid also has Toyota's hybrid system.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Toyota lending a helping hand to anyone wanting to add a hybrid to their line-up. It's the best hybrid system on the market!

unlike the article - I really like the looks of it!

the article doesn't mention the tax credit either -- I think its $2600, so deduct that from the price and you have a helluva deal.

This is pretty cool. GM will have an answer with their own tech soon though that should outgun this and stuff toyota has. Wish they could get the 2-mode volume up sooner, but seems it will be 2009 before there is a well rounded hybrid offering from GM.

they dont offer stability control on the hybrid model, which is a bummer as many people look for that feature in a new car
