SPY SHOTS: New Ford Explorer being readied

Didn't they just come out with a new Explorer last year? And it sucks? So why do they want another truck that sucks?

Now can someone please tell Ford that they should listen to consumers wishes. No matter what they do to the outside they need to make their cars look better on the inside and have better build quality. They need to do something along the lines of what chevy has done wuth the Tahoe. Now thats a hell of a redesgn from previuos Tahoes. Maybe, a word of advice to Ford, sell all the companys that are just sucking the blood from Ford and use that money to make better cars and trucks. They can start with Jaguar and Aston Martin.

Also in the case of Jaguar not only should they sell it because its not doing well but they themselves have damaged that brand in the eyes of the consumer by using parts and platforms from Ford that Jaguar purists dont agree with. The interiors of jaguars dont look as good as they did and dont last as long as they did.

They already sold Aston Martin.

And Jaguar is on the cusp of doing much, much better- take a look at the XF Concept. That is what is going to turn Jaguar around.

Since when were Jaguars long-lasting? If anything, they've gotten significantly more reliable. Check J.D. Power studies. And something inside is telling me that you've never owned one... so you know all this, how? Please, enlighten me.

The old Sport Trac was built on the previous generation Explorer platform. The newest Sport Trac using the current platform, which gives it larger dimensions, better ride, and road manners.

The Sport Trac is pretty useful for the person who doesn't require a full pick-up bed. I like the Avalanche and it's utility, but I don't need it's large size. I would choose something like the Sport Trac, Colorado, or Ridgeline.

The only thing about the existance of the Sport Trac is that Ford offers an F-150 with a 4-dr cab. The two vehicle kinda overlap. But, again, the pick-up bed may be different sizes, so that may be all the differentation people need.

...Didn't they just do this for '07?

And am I the only one noticing that the thing still uses some body parts from the '02 design? (Doors, some sheetmetal ares, etc.)
