This MPG is the same as the 320cdi.
Merc needs a hybrid for the US market.
(I say needs but more like it would just boost their image, anything Lexus does Merc can do better seems to be the motto at Stuttgart now).

Lexus needs to be cheaper than the Euro Counter parts to succeed. So far they have done an 'ok' good. hard to decide between the Lexus and MB. I give an edge to MB for looks and the Lexus has a kick ass LS hybrid...hmmmm?

There is no-way in hell a Mercedes could comeout with a reliable electronic anything and this will be a mistake for Germans. They really should stick with a Diesel or keep building with 6-700 hp plus cars to keep folks dreaming. I mean take a look at this thing..its using mild hybrid which was used by 10 years old Honda thats been discontinued.

Lexus LS600 will crush this thing and I think its rather an imbarrasment for Mercs. Stick with Diesel and high horsepowers..b/c that's all you reall have Mercs!

Yeah, sure they are. I live in the U.K and i see maybe 1 Lexus a week (and it's the same one that lives near by lol). Even when travelling Europe, i see very few of them in comparison to the Big 3. And that's because they know how to desgin cars and they have prestige.

I see very few Lexi also, by far the most common for me is the RX, but I do live in Chelsea Tractor-ville so it's expected.
