And this should be the final nail in the Maybach coffin...

I think you are right. A vehicle like this goes better with Rolls Royce, Maybach, Bentley than a Mercedes. I guess they really are going to do away with Maybach.

I don't think it looks all that great either. What's up with the Honda Civic Coupe taillights?

Just like the CLS. This car will create another segment in the industry that others will pursue. This car is a sound decision tht will probably bring Benz back into its glory days of impeccable quality and brand image.

Agreed. Just watch BMW, Audi, & possibly Porsche & Lexus follow suit. It might not be the best looking Benz, but the idea is a great one.

MunicRob - apparently Audi already is according to Motor Trend. Personally I don't fancy the idea for either one. That's just my opinion. I can't really imagine that these would be fun to drive - but I guess they are supposed to be stately - that's why I think the idea should be done by Bentley and Rolls Royce.

Didnt Cadilac and alike use to have these back in the 60's? Not to sure, but i think thats what they drive on that HBO show. It would be really cool if they brought the 4 door convertible back though.

This car had me drooling when I read reviews of its fabulous road presence, incredible luxury and potential power output. I, for one, am very excited for this to reach production. If it's under $150K, I can trade in my then-current vehicle and use it as an all-purpose car!

J/K... I'd have to trade both my car and my wife's car!

At first I thought the 4-door hatchback at the top of tis page is what they were refering to... but then I found the actual car. It's nice. I'd never buy one, but it looks good.
