Porsche To Skip 2008 Detroit Auto Show

Some of these shows are simply getting much too expensive. I think we have a case here where the show needs Porsche more than the other way around.

They won't be missed. It's not like next years cars will look any different.

Save some money porsche, and put it towards a new design. I'm tired of the 911 looking like a VW bug.

I wouldn't call it idiotic from an enthusiasts standpoint. I have a great time checking out all the new and traditional designs. My sons a huge car nut at only 4 yrs. old and loves to see all the cars in one place.

BTW, we're not all fat and lazy idiots as you put it.
