Rolls-Royce to team up with Bertone and Zagato
Rolls-Royce is looking to team up with Italian coachbuilders Bertone or Zagato to build ultra-luxurious and custom Phantoms for buyers who want to stand out from the rest and can afford to cough up the money. Under the plan, development of the cars will be sent out to the respective design houses since the Goodwood assembly line busy preparing for the next-generation sedan codenamed RR04.

The last time Rolls paired up with an Italian design firm they came up with the Camargue! eeek!!!
But I am excited to see companies like Rolls and Ferrari trying to move away from the "off the rack" designs, for those who can afford them.

One of the single ugliest vehicles I have ever seen. That one car destoyed any romance about Pininfarina for me.

I still think it is just horrible- in particular the rear. The rear could not look any cheaper. Head on it isn't that bad.

Okay I have to agree the Camargue could have been worse, hell even I may have owned one if I were a rapper or drug dealer in the early 80's.
I am just excited that they are going to build cars that will be more interesting than their counterparts. I mean 60 years from now I doubt you will see run of the mill Phantoms and Merc S classes etc. on the lawns of Pebble Beach.
