2007 BMW 335i Coupe

The Coupe is the best-looking BMW we've seen in a while.

Sidenote: that is a very expensive Nav system.

I have to agree. This coupe is the only good looking BMW from the whole banglised line up. But the interior is still ugly as hell.

Hey Bangle, if you don't know what a good interior should look like, go check out the A5/S5, or even the TT.

The interior looks better with the center navigation screen option added. It looks too plain without it. Just my opinion.

$2100? That's not that much, definitely in line with the competition. Plus it includes live traffic. Everyone else charges monthly for that, it's free forever with the BMW.

I am sure it rides great but I can't wait to drive the Audi S5 and compare.

Im with Anti Bangle...the interior leaves a lot to be desired but the car looks pretty good otherwise.

the car has so much available... the torque is amazing and if you put a chip in it.. its a rocket... its so damn quick yet handles well too -- very well balanced... those seat belt things are sure to break though

Ive had my 335i coupe for a few months now, and I still get a huge grin on my face everytime Im behind the wheel. Its just an amazing car. I owned an E46 330i, but this car is a whole different kind of animal. The turbo six blows my mind. Im seriously in love with it. Best car Ive ever owned. Period.

Thanks common, Ive had her about 3 months, and Im waiting to fully break her in before I do (if any) mods. I might just get a chip, M6 rims, tints, and be done. She's so perfect as is.

The 335i is a great car but i rather take a G37.

It's funny you mentioned the seatbelt extender breaking. My wife and I test drove the 335i in Irvine, CA, when I noticed that the driver side extender would not retract all the way like the passenger side.

I mean. This is a brand new car, and supposedly solid BMW built. And before anyone had purchased this car, the damn seatbelt extender is already broken. I pointed it out to the salesman, and he just ignored it after taking a look at it, and went on about the navigation and other gadgets. I wish it didn't come with those extenders. When they don't retract all the way, they block the entrance when people trying to get to the back seats. I can see people getting hurt trying to get back there without noticing these things still sticking out.

There is nothing solid about modern day BMWs, maybe except the price sticker and the ego :) I want to see this car 15 years from now with 200,000 miles on the odometer, then we'll talk about solid.

In relation to another posting, I drive a 1993 Ford Probe GT with about 191,600 miles on it. I am owner #3 with almost 70,000 miles. Keep in mind the Probe/Mazda MX6 was a joint venture of Mazda and Ford, neither of which has had a reputation for building extremely durable cars. Mine is in a surprisingly good shape, but a lot of the interior plastic retainers and other parts have broken off. If I knew the 335i would be in similar or better shape when it is at this age, I would definitely call it solid.

Gee, vdiv you drive a probe 14 years old and you are in the bmw thread trashing 335's? Wow talk about standing on the outside looking in. While you are out there get a bucket and clean the windows!

You know, I drove the 335i, then I drove the 328i convertible, then I drove the GTI, then I drove the Rabbit, then I decided as long as my pos Probe starts every morning and gets me close to 30 mpg I have better things to do with my money.

Has anyone else heard of any troubles or problems with the seatbelt extenders?
