Look at where Toyota and Honda are after all that money that they have spent. Even teams that source their engines are running faster than they do.

Anyway, I'm not very interested in this Toyota supercar. I would much rather see a mid-engine Honda HSX in production.

That means the the customer F1 cars, have a better aerodynamically developed car, they still use the same 2.4 liter V8 engine you find in the Honda and Toyota teams.

It's not a super car. It's a sports car. How can Lexus jump to super car when they don't even have a great sports car. The LF-A will be going head to head against the SL, 6 series and Porsche 911's. The only car that I just mentioned is a super car is the 911 with it's 911 Turbo with supreme handling and performance. And even then it's the most understated sports car maker in the business.

The LF-A looks great though from what we see here. It will be a great looking Lexus sports car. Finally it has revealed itself more. I just hope the handling is as good as it looks.

Just don't get it twisted. It's no super car like a Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Aston Martin. It's a high performance sports car. Keep in mind Lexus thinks more about luxury than sportiness. They can not sacrifice luxury for sport not under the Lexus badge. Leave it to Toyota to make an all out brutal sports car in the future.

I give this LF-A a 8/10 so far. Looks good to go!

The website predicted the Frankfurt Auto Show in September would bring the official unveiling. I think the refreshed LF-A concept is a pretty definitive model of what the production version will look like. At least I hope so...

Very safe design, nothing innovative... nothing that says "thats a Lexus". Could be any one of the Asian brands....are we sure its the LF-A?

This is such an off-the-mark comment. Nobody would mistake the LF-A for any other sports car from Honda or Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi or even Subaru.

In my opinion Lexus doens't really have an identity. When I look at their cars I don't feel the passion of the designer. It just looks a bit déjà-vu.

Far away from the LF-A I saw at Autoshow here in Chicago. Now that was a nice car. This is just a bad copy. I will wait for the final thing to show up before I say anything.

When you want styling in a sports car buy Italian.

I saw a brand new black on black Lamborghini Gallardo at the home next to one of my listings and that is a killer lookin' car.

both this and the new NSX are supposedly going to be in the $180-200k range here in the U.S. so I don't see this as an R8 competitor. Or a 911 competitor, or M6 competitor, or any other $100k car competitor. That's a lot of cheese. If I've got Ferrari/Lamborghini/Aston Martin money, I'm buying a Ferrari/Lamborghini/Aston Martin, I don't care how "reliable" this is.

Not too bad judging by what camo has been taken off... I remember Toyota stating back when mules were first spotted that it could be the Supra...but I guess they decided to make it a Lexus after all.... But to put down that much cash on this car... I am not sure I could do it... still a little to Vanilla for me.

The front fascia vaguely reminds me of the Proto Motors Spirra.

Will, why is markusck's comment "off-the-mark?" From what we can see here, it's an attractive sports car, but I'm inclined to agree with him. You could easily mistake this for any other brand. Where are the distinguishing Lexus styling cues? You know the 911 is a Porsche, the F430 is a Ferrari, the DB9 is an Aston Martin and the R8 is an Audi-- but it's hard to tell that this LF-A is a Lexus. I hope it looks more unique when it makes production. Perhaps the camo is hiding a few things.

Nice car, but no one is going to pay ferrari money for a Toyota. remember the Honda NSX? The NSX was the greatest car that no one purchased. The Japanese make nice cars but they have a long way to go if they think that they can compete with the real "exotics".

It looks Good, very promising but some people here have a point, it may even be the next supra, how do you know its a lexus?

I don't want to fall into the argument of whether this car is good or bad, however I think it has good potential to be a great sport car.

I have a small technical comment though. The rear wing seems to be retractable, and from its configuration, I think, it can serve as an air brake too, what do you think guys?
