It will be the car of choice for the 18 year old offspring of suburban, 2 income, slightly richer than average family's everywhere.

Good thing BMW has free maintenance...These 1-series will be so trashed by the 'kids' by the time the 36 month lease is over you should stay away from them on the CPO lot.

Beverly Hills and Greenwich high school here we come.

That maybe true, but there are alot of true BMW enthusiasts out there dying to get their hands on one. This car is kind of a return to BMWs roots. Its lightweight and if the rumors of it having the twin turbo 300hp i-6 are true, it will most likely make a great track car.

Agree with you Corsis.The key word here is weight. The 3-Series is a wonderful, but nevertheless heavy, GT. Personally, i'll be content with the 272Hp 3.0
