Flash Back: Test Drive of the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune
The Nissan Skyline is one of those cars that need no introduction, at least to the Japanese cars enthusiast, if you aren’t then you certainly missed something. Ever since 1989 and the R32 version (followed by R33 and R34) this car has become an Icon for Nissan, a living proof of their knowledge and skills which brought a lot of victories in Motorsport and a huge community of fans behind the GTR badge.

Exclusively sold in Asia and now massively exported all around the globe, the GTR was made popular by video games and specialized magazines and Medias. The stock version (R34 GTR) is an excellent sportscar based on the combination of the Twin Turbocharged inline 6 motor (RB26DETT) and the technologically advanced All Wheel Drive system known as ATTESA E-TS. Over their fifteen years of existence, those 2 elements have proven a diabolical potential, loved by the tuners, it is not surprising to see and hear about modified versions producing over a thousand horsepower.

Just another boring, bland Japanese rice tuner car with no proper prestige, history or handling capabilities.

The BMW 1-Series will eat this alive...

As much as i dislike Nissan, The GT-R was an awesome tuner vehicle. So much potential in an vehicle with a face only a mother could love.

wtf are you talking about?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Skyline_GTR
if you call yourself a car enthusiast, why dont you go out and try out this car before making ignorant judgements?
plus, what do you even mean by prestige?

"The BMW 1-Series will eat this alive..."
One example of a trajectory ricer statement.

Who would ever buy Japanese? All cars in the world should be German. Everyone should drive a Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Porsche. No other brands should even exist!

Will, cut the crap please. Normally I don't care but now you're insulting one of the great automotive icons in the world. Yeah, that's right a Nissan is an icon. And it's the ONLY Japanese car that has that status.

Why? They weren't copying anybody this time, just creating the fastest way to go around a bend. I really love this car because it actually has some heritage and a reputation here in Europe. When the R32s Skyline was out, it was the fastest car on the Ring. And I can assure you that many Germans, French, Italians, .. were all very surprised!

Sure it's an ugly car both inside and out with no real design but who cares when it drives like that!

Simply brilliant car.

here goes another german fanboy. (I hate fanboys as much as racists) SevorbeupstryIsBack isnt being a fanboy, hes stating real facts. your making german cars look bad by stating how superior they are, thts what I hate coming from ppl like you.

There is no such thing as a "German fanboy." There are only Japanese fanboys here. All us Germans make perfect sense 100% of the time. The only fanboys worth calling out are Japanese ones.

German cars never look bad, not even when an undeserving person such as yourself gets behind the wheel of one.

This site is so anti-German/pro-Japanese it's insane.

"There is no such thing as a "German fanboy. There are only Japanese fanboys here. All us Germans make perfect sense 100% of the time. The only fanboys worth calling out are Japanese ones." wrong. from wikipedia: "Fanboys remain loyal to their particular obsession, disregarding any factors that differ from their point of view. Fanboys are also typically aggressive and hateful towards the opposing brand or competition of their obsession regardless of its merits or achievements."- as far as I have seen isnt tht rite? I've been behind the wheel of many cars good and bad. i dont make a negative statement until i've been behind the wheel of a car.

Htay,

I'm not serious here with any of the comments I made today. I was imitating several posters we have here who do exactly what I did, but actually believe all of it to be true.

I take it you have not been visiting this site for very long, or else you would know that I am a very avid Japanese car fan. I own two Lexus.

Glad we have an understanding.

One important thing you'll learn about this site is that most times, being upfront and rational doesn't work, which is why there are alot of posters here who are the sarcastic alter-egos of someone else. Reverse sarcasm is used here alot to make another point-of-view look bad.
