Chrysler promises new hybrids and diesels

Chrysler Group, which is now being acquired by Cerberus Capital Management in a $7.4 billion deal with Daimler, said today that it will introduce new hybrids and more diesle engines to improve the fuel-economy of its lineup.

“Chrysler Group is focused directly on improving fuel efficiency across our vehicle lineup,” product development chief Frank Klegon said in a statement. The Chrysler group is looking for new applications for the 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine developed by Mercedes-Benz.

i dont no about anybody else's opinion but chrysler needs to do something better with all there cars... i mean wtf why do they use everybody else's stuff just to turn around and build another funny looking over rated car... i mean if i see one more 300 im going to jump off a cliff.... i hate the box look i hate the dumb logo they have they just look like really really cheap built cars come on fire the design team and start over

Not hybrids, those are just hype. They need to introduce something like the Hummer to really help the environment.
