Civic at head of class for teens

What do teenagers drive, other than parents crazy?

Not the Mustangs or Corvettes they fantasize about, but new or used Honda Civics.

That's the finding of a study by Quality Planning Corp., a San Francisco-based firm that works with insurance companies to reduce underwriting costs. It divined what teens drive from the cars they insure.

"We found the time-honored battle between teen desires and parental practicality is alive and well," said Ted Harris, manager of research and development at QPC.

So, whoever holds the checkbook chooses what teens drive.

i started off on the CR-V, nearly a civic but it handled great but no power at all. hated the side gear shift

then got the family toyota prado...reliable and thats it.

Now dribing the G35 sedan, nice and fast with great handling and doesn't break down like my dad's X5.

I had a Toyota Landcruiser 70 when I was a teen. Absolute rubbish to drive, but reliable as hell.
