Is Mitsubishi encouraging illegal street racing in their ads?
The Mitsubishi ad depicts a 2008 red Lancer sports compact sedan dashing around a ramp, a highway, under bridges and dirt roads.

To the sounds of a pulsating guitar beat, the ad shows a rising tachometer needle, a running shoe pressing on the gas pedal, an attractive woman signalling "go" with her arms and other customized cars in action. The ad ends with the message "Certified Street Legal. We Think."

I bet the UK will ban this like a shot.

We just banned Manhunt 2 for promoting stalking...

What's Manhunt 2? A game?

So they have nothing to do other than ban ads?

We have plentu of things to do!
Next week we're getting rid of the Prime Minister and replacing him with a Scotsman with one eye. But we don't want him, but because of British law, he can be PM without us having elected him, because we elected his party last election, they can change the leader as much as they want.

The UK has major problems with banning ads in my opinion. They ban every ad they see, because it resembles something. Do you think that us British people would have seen the Manhunt 2 commercial and thought, "Stalking? Sounds fun. I'll give it a try!" No. So I think that this MIGHT be banned if it ever comes to this country. We think about the car, not what is in the commercial.
