Woah, so that's what it looks like!

You'd think that's the new Corolla with the 4 doors?

I would buy 4 of them if it came with corolla prize tag.

I still thinks the design looks so unbalanced. I don't know what exactly... something to do with the wheels and those silly stacked exhausts.

You still can't tell why the design looks unbalanced...

Let me give you a few clues...that ridiculous bulging hood and monstrous side vents are a perfect start...

If they could fit the V8 into the standard engine bay they shouldn't have tried; they've just ruined a perfectly good looking car in the IS350...

My prediction for the IS-F:

Some people will love it, some people will hate it.

The funky bits of the exterior do look a little more toned-down on that darker color. The concept model's blue color looked like ass.

In black or white this car will be attractive. Maybe not as sexy as a Ferrari, but not nearly as ugly as some people around here seem to think.

Nothing special in all honesty. Compared to a C AMG or M3, i'd be embarrassed at the lights. And answer, a Lexus will never be sexy. I repeat, will NEVER be sexy.

Honda lovers wet-dream. Too bad the "Civic" Crowd won't be able to afford the thing.

0-60 in 4.8? That isn't any better than a 335. Next!

actually lexus vehicles rarely beat claims in testing...they often have trouble achieving the claims in fact.

let's not forget that lexus has some of the best marketing out there. they squeeze every last claim they can out of their cars.

except now it matches the 4.8 0-60 of the 335i--instead of being 0.1 seconds slower.

my error.
but apparently you're not very good at math. it doesn't take 2/10ths of a second to go from 60 - 62.5mph. so you're 4.6 claim is baseless. maybe a hair under 4.8.

the M3 will do low 4s guaranteed as it has to be significantly quicker than the 335i which gets 4.8.

and perhaps you're resorting to personal attacks because you know your car is second best and can't argue on its merits.

i don't have proof, simply logic.

you can't bring to market a top-of-the-line performance model that isn't significantly faster than your base model. neither bmw or lexus is that stupid. if the 335i is getting 4.8, the M3 would need to be at least half a second faster to justify the huge premium.

It not 400hp for the IS-F, about a week or two weeks ago;I thought Lexus engineer says, Lexus is going to have aleast 450hp. 0-60 is going to be quicker than 4.8s for sure, I'm predicting in the 4.5s-4.6s.

lexus has never said a number higher than 400hp. again, they're marketers...they would say more if they could...

either way, it's not very impressive that they need a 5.0liter to get the power BMW gets out of a 4.0liter.

I don't care about what those german loving fools talk about, this ISF is far better looking then the normal 3 series, Audi Rs4, and the C class. But i must say that I'll prefer the new M3 sports sedan over this because that looks more muscular, meaner, and looks more like a machine to be driven, whereas the ISF looks a bit like a sleek supermodel, and since I am a guy I like the mechanized look of the M3 more.

really? i think the IS350 is FAR BETTER looking than the IS-F. the 350 has proper proportions and integrity. it's clear from the aftermarket look of the IS-F and the strangely stretched hood that the original IS design was never intended to house a V-8. maybe they'll think about that when they design the next gen IS.

Looks much better in black than it does in that blue color. I still think the exhaust pipes looks somewhat awkward, but it's actually growing on me. With that said, I would still never buy one, but it's not bad.

Lexus ALWAYS understates their 0 - 60 times by at least .5 seconds. Here are the results of the 5 Top Luxury Cars in this test which was reported in the January Issue of Car and Driver. Please note these tests were all done on the same day at about the same time and at the same altitude. The results reflect the average of 3 runs and all cars are the 2007 vintage.

Mercedes S550 5.6, 0 - 60 quarter mile in 14.1 (Benz show 5.4 in their specs)
BMW 750iL 5.7, 0 - 60 quarter mile in 14.2
Jag XJ Super 6.0 0 - 60 quarter mile 14.5
Lexus LS460L 6.2 0 - 60 quarter mile 14.6
Audi A8 6.8 0 - 60 quarter mile 15.2

Note that Lexus, as usual, is more than the 5.4 the manufacturer CLAIMS to get by .8 seconds.

Also note the LS430 (prior model the LS460 replaced) was rated at 295 HP and was actually 278 when Lexus corrected their rating. And there were no refunds or apologies from the so-called "quality" car company. ABC - Always Be Careful what you buy from the (REPREHENSIBLE) Toyota/Lexus people.....

C´mon guys, seriously, that design is a bad joke, the bulging hood makes the car look goofy, that rear design couldn´t look worse (square, uninspired)it lacks the timeless character, poise and soul of a BMW for example... ( I´d feel embarrassed driving the ISF)

Somehow the IS-F's headlights look like the Mercedes-Benz's S-Class. Except a little smaller.

I wonder who got the design first?
