2008 BMW 123d

For the first time the new 4 cylinder diesel engine with Variable Twin Turbo will be available for the 5 and 3 door models of the Bmw 1 Series. The engine of new Bmw 123d will deliver 204 bhp wich is pretty good.The 5 door and 3 door models have a fuel consumption of 5,2 litres diesel for 100 kilometres . The emission level of CO2 is 138 g per kilometre.

The BMW is more fun to drive, looks better (and that's hard considering I hate Bangle) and ALOT faster.

This is the version I wish they were bringing over. It looks better than the coupe and it's a fuel efficient deisel (45mpg combined). Makes sense sense to put the diesel in a small car too, because most people that buy small cars are looking for fuel efficiency. Plus, it's got lots of cargo space for it's small size. Much better all the way around than those junky hybrids.

A great engine for a great BMW car! It`s the best engine in this time. Better as a hybrid powered car. This 204 HP are reality Power for ever and not "short time Power as a Hybrid"

Note: A hybrid car has only the power from the gas engine. The elctric drive power is only a "Overboost". It`s the same as a gas-Turbo "Overboost" for 10 sec.
