A new vehicle with no new technology! Why haven't they improved the mielage? Why not more power ? Look at the 2008 BMW series-1!58ish MPG 208HP! Now that is cutting edge tech! This looks great and I love the concept but needs competitive engines to the 1 series Bimmer! Just a major facelift is all this is!

The concept looks really nice. I'd like to know its relative size though. The article says it's a 5-seater, but can be made to be a 7-seater. I would assume the FSC sits on a modified Camry platform. Will AWD be available? I also see Toyota testing out the wagon category also with this new vehicle. And where does this leave the RAV-4 or the Highlander?

truckmen, Toyotas Environmental policy says "normal aspirated engines for production cars". An engine with turbo is enviromentally hostile.

It has been my understanding that a turbo in a diesel improves efficience. And All I am saying is that the camry motor is no longer top gun in power and efficency. Toyota doesn't even come close to the 2008 1 series BMW! Even cleaner for the enviroment If you were burning bio-fuel.

Sweet design. It kinda looks similar to the Nissan Murano.
