New Lancer Sportback to be Launched in Frankfurt

Mitsubishi is busy making up ground with its new Lancer sedan that debuted in North America earlier this year.
The Lancer was engineered on Mitsubishi's “Project Global” platform, which underpins a large number of vehicles including the D:5 Delica minivan (Japan only) and the Outlander.

Fully agree about the looks but highly concerned that the automatic is a CVT and that no details are available about the AWD system. The Subaru WRX STI has one of the best AWD systems on the planet with a rear Torsen, front viscous and driver lockable centre differential. Is Mitsu too ashamed to publish technical details about its AWD system?
