Confusion Reigns Over Fords Intentions With Volvo

After the successful sale of the Aston Martin, Ford is looking to rid next the Jaguar and Land Rover. The trouble is Volvo maybe up for sale too, according to a report it isn't but that was the same thing they said of the Jaguar.

While they're at it how about Ford kill off Mercury and Lincoln? Just get down to "Ford" literally.

They could kill off Mercury and just sell the Lincoln at Mercury prices or very slightly higher. If they absolutely want to keep Jaguar, then that would have to become Ford's only luxury brand. I think they should sell both Volvo and Jaguar and restructure the company and rename it Lincoln-Ford. They could then focus on just those two brands. They should keep the blue Ford oval as their logo but just have the letters L and F in it in a fancy font a la Daimler's D.

Its just funny that all the companys that Ford are selling, are now recently started to give profits to the shareholders :)
