Brilliance planning 2008 US launch

China’s Brilliance Auto has announced that it's trying to meet US emissions and safety regulations for a new sedan it will launch in North America next year.

I'd stay well away from it after seeing its 1 star safety rating.

I'm surprised this car is even being considered for the US market, much less Europe. Once it fails our crash tests in style, I don't see much of anything "brilliant" about this car.

I won't buy tools that have MADE IN CHINA stamped on them because I fear for my knuckles. What the heck do they think I'll buy a CAR from them?!?!
