Spy Shots: Subaru Impreza STi coming to Frankfurt

Yesterday we brought you spy shots of the next-generation Mitsubishi EVO X, and now we bring spy shots of its rival, the Subaru Impreza STi. CarMagazine has caught the car hitting up the Nurburgring for some high-speed testing.

So how does it hold up to the EVO X? Well the next-generation Subrau Impreza is expected to be powered by a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing up to 300 horsepower. Needs the BIG fender bulges, front and back, and a much more agressive nose. I'm so glad I got the last of the real Imprezas.

I'm sure it will still be a blast to drive, but, well, the styling department has gone to hell. I thought toyota only owned around 10%? That must be the design department they own. Bastards.
