Mercedes Announces C Class Pricing

Mercedes-Benz USA LLC cut the cost of the upper trim levels of its new-generation 2008 C class but increased its base price $1,500.
It will be available Aug. 7 in sport and luxury trim levels that feature suspension tuning and distinctive front ends, interior trim and wheels.

Here in Middle East New C Class is avialble since Feb 2007.

Base Model C180 starts at AED 180K.(USD 48K+).

Other models are C200 Kompressor.C230,C280,C350 and in future C63AMG.

You think the 70 year-old grandpa who buys an IS350 actually needs 306-horsepower? Of course not.

The C350 might sound undepowered on paper, but last I checked, it's still a pretty quick car. And you really think someone shopping for a C350 cares about having the most horsepower? They care about the brand first, everything else second.

That's for sure. People who buy an IS, 3 series differ from those who buy a C-Class. C-Class owners don't look for power but look for the overall feeling owning a Mercedes. I must say the current/outgoing generation didn't look too great in my opinion especially the lower models. However the C55 looked great.

The new generation should look great throughout their entire lineup. It looks more refined than the outgoing model and the styling with the sport package looks MUCH better!

It has grown out of the poor man's benz image and now an actual alternative to it's targeted competitors.
