it may be questioned. but who has disproved the claims? why won't toyota address the nickel mining and smelting issues? and the toxic batteries? these are not matters of opinion, they're real issues.

there's no 'backing of claims' in the article. it simply says that toyota is questioning the research that says that the prius is not energy efficient.

so why the title of this thread?
