I saw a 2008 M3 driving around San Francisco yesterday. Wish I had my camera - it looked fantastic!

M3 is a beast. Best car in its class. But lemme guess...

all the haters will start talking about how it is not good and other makes are better...

It's terrible! Who would EVER want to drive one, in the summer under the blue sky, in Spain, surrounded by HOT women, by a crystal clear swimming pool, fed with a heavenly lunch buffet, with all the M3 models on display...

Believe me, its Lexus which has lost it designing a clown car like the IS-F...I am such a fan of the IS350 and they totally ruined a perfectly good looking car...

As for the new Cadillac...time will tell...

Nice pictures! That E46 M3 Cabrio has a Individual interior and there even is a very rare E36 M3 GT (only offered in British Racing Green and in Coupe-body) with the upgraded 3 litre straight-six producing 295 horsepower if I'm not mistaking.

I would go crazy!

I had an Audi S4 Cabriolet from 2005 until 4 weeks ago when my new 2008 M3 cab arrived. I will never own an Audi again. First, the resale value on these cars are a joke. I had 9700 miles on the car and the best I could get for the car was $26000. I paid 60000k brand new! This is what they are going for at Manheim. Audi's residual value is sh-t. Second, I test drove all 911's including twin turbo, Corvette Zo6, RS4 cabrio and I liked the way the M3 drove better. The new DCT tranny is incredible. Ride is better than any Audi and it is noticeably lighter on it's feet. I have driven and owned many sports cars and this, in my opinion, is the best all around car. For those of you who will say it is not AWD... If you can't afford a weather beater for bad weather, then this car is not for you. For those of you that drive these cars in the snow, I really don't know what to tell you. The RS4 is not for me. It is far too loud as a daily driver, ride is way to harsh and as far as the seats go I have sat on granite that was more comfortable. I recently took a ride to the beach with a friend that has an RS4 and after the 3 hr drive I had the same feeling in my ears as when I last attended a Van Halen concert. The interior noise is annoying after the first 20 min. I have no problem with the steering on the M also. If you know how to drive most will agree this is the best M yet!
