If they keep ignoring the West, there will be no Iran in 2015. With there current attitude, their projections are optimistic at minimum. The only idiots who would buy these cars are Venezualans, Cubans and any other country comfortable with having one leader for the entire life.

Let me clarify, because obviously you are an educated man and on top of your world poltics. What I really was getting to in my comments is that the fact that Venezuala, Cuba, Iran and Nicrouga, were trying to getting into an alliance with each other. Mainly, the multi - billion dollar deal between Iran and Venzuala for Iranian military equipement. I also believe Chavez, purchased some migs and is working on acquiring some subs from Russia. The west will reign for a long time to come.

Iran, while a strict Islamic country, is not on the scale of Saudi, and is fairly westernised.

Tehran is also home to the world's fourth tallest free standing structure, the Milad Tower, it has a Metro line, hell, its Sister Cities are LA, Dubai and Beijing!
Don't be fooled by the anti-Iran bias, Iran is a fairly stable country, it's not a desert, and the people there are not stupid.
It of course does have a president who wished the Jews were dead, and did capture British soldiers, but Iran could be an ally. It's not as black and white as many people think.

Fact is, If they have managed to build 1.1 million cars last year then there must be somebody buying these vehicles. As long as there is demand, they will continue to supply.

While I or others will not be inclined to purchase one of those cars as it might not meet our requirements (Performance or Aesthetically) there seem to be people who do purchase them.

I actually commend them on their ability to do this considering the tremendous amount of Sanctions they have to operate under.

My comments regarding their culture are irrelevant to this site.
