Whoa! The Highest Horsepower Hyundai Ever!

When Hyundai introduced its first luxury car, currently known as the Concept Genesis, earlier this year at the New York Auto Show and said it was going upscale, the Korean carmaker didn’t say how far it would go to rival Lexus and Infiniti in the luxury market. But now we know.

Two words: cruise ships.

Several major cruise ship construction contracts are due to be let in 2009, and industry analysts expect a few Korean companies, including Hyundai, to be among the bidders. In recent years, the Koreans have become major players in the ship building industry; in fact, Fortune reports Korean companies now represent seven of the top ten positions in the industry.
