I guess we can quit speculating the output and weight of the car.

Reading through it, the car will be getting launch control! That and the new sport bucket seat is based off a US Design Patent submitted january 2006.

Note this is the first car that actually has the "expansion" intake manifold! This demostrates once again the German precision.

I hope there will be a Clubsport package like on the last one. By the way did you know the GT3 with Clubsport is actually a bit lighter than a GT3 RS (extra weight because of the Carrera 4 body)?
Also, those rear tires are HUGE.

The GT2 will likely have a Clubsport option.

This 997 GT2 has RICE written all over it. In fact, it's the ultimate RICE.
Definition of R-I-C-E.
Fins, vents, oversized exhausts, large non-functional rear spoiler, yellow brakes, clear signal lens, and carbon fiber engine cover.
This is the perfect example of RICE to the highest order in automotive history.

Thought I explained this to you on another post ?
Fins = To aid with Cooling of various Radiators and Vents
Exhaust = To vent Waste Gasses from Engine, 530hp needs at least 2 exit pipes. (Notice Pipes are not too large)
Rear Spoiler = Positioned to provide Much Needed Downforce at the rear of vehicle, anything above 155mph needs this Downforce.
Yellow Caliper Cover = Indicates that this is the Carbon/Ceramic Composite that is of a very high Quality & Fade Free.
CF Engine Cover is to Reduce Weight.
DO you see any RICE effort here or do you now see the reasons for each of these design cues.

lenkun... you suppose everyone is copying RICERS? so where did ricers get their "looks"?
Ricers "pimp" their cars up because they want to give idiots like you the impression that they are a fast car with "fins", "wings", "exhausts", and "CF".
Apparently, RICERS got to you. In case you didn't know, Performance machines like the GT2 have resons for these things, as I95SPEEDINGTICKETS pointed out. RICERS dont. They only want to make it look "cool" to impress people like you lenkun.
