Why don't people get tired of a 50 years old look?

I would have said that 50 years ago....

Im not saying its ugly or anything, and I love porsche engineering but the design is getting old.

Timeless design.

M53R is wrong. Porsche design is highly evolved not old. If that timeless design is ever changed it won't be a Porsche any more. To change the basic look of the Porsche would be as outrageous as changing the style of the grille on the Rolls.

Well if that was the case we would still be living in the 1950s because every car maker doesnt wan to change the classic look. The rear is ok but the front looks... frog like.

The GT2 will be one of the fastest track cars ever made. Prepare yourselves for a titan among sports-cars.

This car will be absolutely phenomenal on the track. I expect Ring times lower than 7:45...yeah it will be that damn good

Hopefully, Porsche will enter this monster into some GT racing, like Le Mans GT1 or GT2 class (and not the GT3RSR, not that there is anything wrong with it).

Well then I guess a lot of things follow that lead. Why buy a new computer if old ones look basically the same? Why buy a new pair of shoes if they look basically the same? Why buy a new wrist-watch if they basically look the same?

BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT THE SAME

Porsche is a preference. I think they get better with every generation. The mark up on the GT2 will be rediculous! Imagine if Porsche decided to keep the 928 instead of the 911?!? That was the plan, but the 911 is timeless so Porsche decided to continue with it and Porsche continues to improve a design many thought was unstable and awkward. Love it or hate it...its still a Porsche :)

the design of a porsche never gets old because it has an organic shape which very few cars have.

this new gt2 is indeed the best looking porsche ever though.

3175 lb, 500+ HP and TQ, I bet from 50-80 mph will take less than a second.

M53R- you know i agree wit u abt alot of things in cars... but the porsche is loved for its timeless classic looks, its what makes it different and its what i love abt it! and it is the porsches amazing shape and look that keeps it on top.
