2008 Saab 9-3 Aero Sport Sedan

Saab claims to have made 2157 changes to its 2008 line of 9-3 vehicles. While it's impossible to verify each one, the major improvements are easy to see.

For one thing, it looks better, having picked up styling cues from Saab's striking Aero X concept. From the A-pillar forward, the 9-3 sheetmetal is completely new and features aggressive aeronautically inspired grillework, vaguely menacing headlights with perma-lit "eyebrows," and Saab's distinct clamshell hood. Five-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels and unique bumpers with matte-finish foglamp surrounds make the Aero version particularly handsome...

I like Saab's but 9-3 models are to small.

The curent 9-5 is still appealing even though its a old car. I cant wait for the new 2009 Saab 9-5.

Please GM... Dont destroy this original swedish company. Let them work alone on this project. You wont be disapointed. They will bring you a nice suprise!

Saab 9-3 is a bit small for me also but it has superb comfy seats. I always liked the style and especially the instrument panel. I hear a new AWD design will appear on the 2008 9-3. GM better provide full technical disclosure for this AWD system in a way that convinces me it is better than or at least equal to Audi's AWD system with the Torsen differential.

Only S and RS models come with a torsen differential; there's no way the XWD Saabs will be 4wd like the Audi's.

That might happen if they bring back the Viggen, but that's unlikely. They'll pretty much be like the Mazdaspeed 6 and regular Audi Quattros: FWD based AWD that will transfer power to the rear when needed.
