Lexus Riley: Another 1-2 finish in Daytona Prototype Race at Iowa Speedway
Pruett, who now owns a record 14 Rolex Series overall wins, led No. 19 Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Z-Line/Mission Residential Lexus Riley teammate Michael Valiante by .325 seconds at the checkered flag for the No. 01 team's second victory of 2007 and Ganassi's first ever 1-2 finish in the series. It also marked the 15th overall Rolex Series victory for Ganassi, another series record, and gave Rojas his first Rolex Series victory after three runner-up finishes earlier this season.

What most of you don't know is that the Riley Scott Lexus is really an IS-F thinly disquised as a racecar. If this Lexus obliterates the competition then obviosly the street version is going so trounce the BMW M3 and Audi RS4 that BMW and AUDI should just cancel them now and focus thier attention on SUVs.

Can Lexus run for president, because they may be the only people in the world that can fix social security and balance the budget.

Toyota has performed like crap in F1. They have no participated DTM for example or Carrera Panamericana. And it's one thing to participate, but Toyota has not won shit. LeMans? Did Toyota win anything here? I doubt it.

Toyota has only done well in WRC if I recall correctly.

I never claimed Toyota doesn't have a racing heritage, but they have not won much, that's all.

And who cares if currently BMW and Mercedes have teamed up with some other company? In the 1920s, 1930s and 1950s up to the 1960s, Mercedes especially and BMW dominated Formula 1 racing (and were not teamed up with some other company). Besides, Toyota can afford to spend a lot of money on F1, more than BMW or Benz.

There's more behind this other than Mercedes supplying McLaren with engines. Apparently they make a good team.

The same cannot be said for Toyota's F1 history. Even Ralf Schumacher was quoted slamming his Toyota F1 car and the Toyota management as they didn't seem to listen to driver input.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. If Toyota/Lexus sucks so much why do you haters care so much?
