Tuner Cars: JE Design Audi Q7 with 500 horsepower
It has been almost a year since JE Design revealed their new tuning kit for the Audi Q7. JE Design boosted the power of the 3.0 liter V6 engine from 233 horsepower to 285. Now they are back with a tuning kit for the 4.2 liter FSI Q7.

While the original 4.2 liter FSI engine produces 350 horsepower, JE Design tunes the engine giving it a total of 500 horsepower. With the help of superchargers, the Audi Q7 4.2 liter FSI now has the ability to do 0-62mph in...

A Q7 with that engine is more desirable than any A8L or Mercedes S-Class.

The only thing wrong with the wheels is that the spokes stick out slightly beyond the tires so that the tires are not able to protect the rims from curb scrapes. Five-spoke wheels are my favorite sporty design for 5-bolt wheels. Wheel monger should note that Audi uses wheel bolts instead of wheel nuts and wheel bolts are awkward to line up and install when changing a wheel. Also, you better carry a proper anti-seize compound in the trunk so you can apply it to the bolt threads before installation.

I don't know of anyone in the industry that would call this unibody vehicle a truck. Trucks are made with bodies mounted on a separate frame for heavier load capacities than required for hauling around a few people.

kind of slow for 500hp, the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S are much quicker.

if the q7 had the same weights and dimensions as the porsche then u could compare them but 5.6 sec is fast for such a heavy car. however the sweetest will be the aftermarket of the q7 v12 when it comes out

You miss the point of having a 500 H.p. diesel -- it's all about the enormous torque and not ultimate acceleration although this vehicle is no slouch when it comes to acceleration. Anyone can achieve fast acceleration in a defined range of speeds with the right gearing. These quick-as-a-bunny vehicles will not be able to perform when hauling a trailer or when passing a truck going up a steep hill.
