Cadillac SRX Set For 2011 Update
Cadillac's SRX is due for a major update about 2011, but could be replaced by a five-passenger BMW X3-size crossover Cadillac is designing primarily for Europe. The new crossover, reported here in the past, will see a strong evolution of the brand's Art & Science design language. The vehicle shares its architecture with the 2009 Saab 9-4 crossover, which replaces the larger 9-7x.

What makes you think it's a truck? it's probably another unibody wonder. I wish it had a truck chassis as body rubber-mounted on a separate frame provides excellent isolation from road noise and vibration. A heavy frame reduces the center of gravity which would be a bonus. I just hope GM retains the DOHC Northstar V8 option for this vehicle.
