Subaru kills Legacy Wagon and Outback Sedan for 2008

To reduce confusion for buyers and to lower its production of different variants of a particular model, Subaru has killed the Legacy Wagon and Outback Sedan for 2008. That means buyers will only have the choice to opt for a Outback Wagon and a Legacy Sedan next year.

Who made that decision? Subaru's known for their awesome, all-weather, reliable wagons. Why would you not make it in MY2008 unless you have a replacement waiting in the wings. I hope they have a replacement on the drawing board.

Sounds to me like they will still have the sedan and the wagon, but the sedan will only be in legacy trim and not offered in outback trim level. The wagon will only be in outback trim and not offered in legacy trim level. Legacy sedan and Outback wagon.
