Ferrari 430 Scuderia unveiled: Not called Challenge Stradale
After all the spy shots you’ve seen on what was being called the Ferrari Challenge Stradale, Ferrari has finally unveiled the car before the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ferrari 430 Scuderia, not called the Challenge Stradale, is the lightweight version of Ferrari’s F430 lineup.

Weighing in at 1250kg, 100kg less than the F430, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia is powered by a 4.3 liter V8 engine that produces 510 horsepower. The car has an extremely low weight-to-power ratio of just 2.45 kg per horsepower.

good to see they addressed the extra big front bumper.

Beautiful. Too bad the F430 engine sounds so un-Ferrari though. The Gallardo's engine is much more sonorous.

I think it could have looked a little more hardcore. Also, the red w/ silver-ish stripes reminds me a little too much of a Viper. Should have stuck with the Red with white stripes and Italia colors.

Yes, but Red/Silver is not ferrari like. Ferraris are usually Red/White or Red/Black

And Yes, a GT3 will probably outperform it.
